A Friday afternoon, reading information on child brain injury, and wanted to share with you the below from the Child Brain Injury Trust website because it resonates the experience of a number of clients for whom i have acted.
If you have a child that has tragically suffered a brain injury then CBiT is a wealth of information and support. You don't have to go it alone.
If your child has suffered a brain injury through an accident then you may want to take legal advice because often a personal injury claim can finance brain injury rehabilitation and other necessary support. Happy to talk this through on

The school had no understanding of David’s brain injury and the impact this has on his behaviour and ability in the classroom. As a result David was not receiving the appropriate support. David struggles with concentration and attention, short term memory, fatigue and controlling behaviour. He also couldn’t cope with extraneous noise and needed time out from classroom. It was clear that the teachers needed strategies for supporting David in the classroom. Behaviour at home was also an issue as David was frustrated and aggressive losing his temper easily. His behaviour was also affecting his younger sister who would get upset as a consequence.
