James is an Associate Solicitor and works in the Serious Injury Team. He joined Moore Blatch in 2008. James specialises in cases of maximum severity including spinal cord injuries, severe head injuries, fatalities and serious orthopaedic injuries. James works on a portfolio of many multi-million pound claims, often involving infants and patients.Before training as a solicitor James qualified as an Adviser with the Citizens Advice Bureau, and he has a broad knowledge of the issues regularly affecting those having suffered a serious injury including an understanding of benefit, employment and housing issues.James has extensive experience in high value and complex cases, and in particular he has gained specialist experience in cases involving complex jurisdictional issues including accidents occurring abroad and at sea.James regularly represents his clients at Court hearings himself, and he has developed relationships with leading barristers on whom he can call when needed.James works closely with the partners of the firm, and in particular the Senior Partner, Damian Horan.
